TID Optional Participation

The District Plan for Tulsa's TID includes a provision for optional participation, allowing area owners/operators of hotels and motels that are not subject to the assessment to voluntarily participate in the TID.

Because the TID is administered alongside the lodging tax by the City of Tulsa, properties that wish to opt into the TID must deliver written notice of this election to the City of Tulsa and subsequently enter into a contract with the City of Tulsa to make an in-lieu payments for the benefit of the District on the same terms and conditions as assessments are paid.
