Mix and Master: Educational Sessions for Creatives

"Mix and Master" is an exciting new program presented by Tulsa FMAC and Sounds OK, offering free educational opportunities for creatives in our community. This initiative not only promotes learning but also provides a dynamic space for networking and collaboration, connecting individuals within the creative ecosystem.

This month, we're switching things up with a special session in collaboration with Mayfest! We'll kick things off at 10:00 AM with a Demo Listening Session — a space for artists to share their music and receive feedback from industry professionals in a supportive, community-driven setting. Whether you're looking to fine-tune a track or simply want to hear what others are working on, it's a great chance to connect and grow.

At 11:00 AM, we'll welcome our guest speaker, Andrea Von Foerster, a veteran Music Supervisor with over 20 years of experience. From the unforgettable soundtrack of 500 Days of Summer to the diverse catalog of shows under 101 Studios, Andrea has helped shape the sonic identity of some of the most beloved projects in film and television. In her session, “How to Get Your Music into Film and TV,” she’ll share insider knowledge on the sync licensing process, offer practical advice, and answer your questions.
