Mix and Master: Educational Sessions for Creatives

Mix and Master is back with another engaging session designed to equip local musicians with the tools they need to succeed.
Presented by Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture and Sounds OK, this free educational series creates space not only for learning, but for meaningful connection across our creative community. This month’s session is especially exciting as we partner with Norman Music Festival for the first time to provide education to the dozens of musicians from Tulsa and across the state who perform at the festival each year.
This month, we’re diving into a topic every artist needs to understand: How to Self Book a Tour.
From routing your shows and reaching out to venues to building relationships with promoters and creating a sustainable plan on the road, this session will walk through practical, real-world guidance tailored specifically to working artists. In partnership with Pink Street Management and On the Map Shows, we’ll share insights from experienced industry professionals to help you confidently take your live show on the road.
Whether you’re planning your first run of shows or looking to level up your touring strategy, you’ll leave with actionable steps to build and book your tour.
Free to attend. All experience levels welcome.
