Make Music Tulsa Performance Grants

The Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture (Tulsa FMAC) created the Make Music Tulsa Performance Grants Program to encourage businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and unconventional venues to activate spaces with live local music during Make Music Day (June 21). 

This program is designed to offset the costs of booking a musician during Make Music Day. Applications are due by June 12, 2026.

About the Grant Process

This grant program was created to encourage local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations and unconventional venues to add live music to their spaces on Make Music Day on June 21, 2026. 

Applicants may receive $100 for hosting a solo musician or $200 for hosting a band or group. To be eligible, applicants must have permission to host music at their location and be at least one of the following: 

  • Business located in the Tulsa Metro Area 
  • Nonprofit organization 
  • Community organization 
  • Retail shop, café, restaurant, gallery, bookstore, park, creative space, other unconventional venue 

The hosted event must: 

  • Take place on Make Music Day (June 21) 
  • Feature a Tulsa-area musician or band 
  • Be free and open to the public 
  • Be promoted through social media, website listings or other public channels
