Filming on Your Property

Designed for commercials, television, feature films, and photo shoots. Rates are based on a 14-hour day for filming and a 12-hour day for all other needs.

Base Location Fees Examples

  • Shoot Days: $500 - $5,000 per day (12-14-hours)
  • Prep & Post Days: $500 - $1500 per day (10-12-hours)
  • Hold Days: $500 - $1500 per day

Take into consideration:

  • Size of production
    • Under 20 people they will want to pay lower amount
    • Over can pay a little more
  • How many days are they using the property?
  • How many people (cast and crew) are going to be on the property?
  • Are they including your furniture?
  • Will they be using onsite restroom? Kitchen?
  • Are they going to use your electricity?
  • Disruption of your home or business?
  • Does the production company provide an insurance waiver?
  • Will the production company provide a location agreement?
  • Will you need additional personnel (see below)?

Additional Location Fees to consider:

  • Site Representative or Property Manager (14-hours)
  • Security
  • House Electric: $$ per day
    • What does fee cover? standard household outlets and HVAC. Mainframe tie-in additional?
  • Post-Event Cleaning fee
    • Final price necessity generally depends on the property and the impact.
  • Dumpster Rental & Removal
  • Parking

Other advice

  • Always get a certificate of insurance
  • Outline on the location agreement what the footprint is and fee that will be charged if it goes beyond the designated areas.
  • Always get the agreement in writing and do not allow productions onsite without the signed agreement and insurance.
