Filming on Your Property
Designed for commercials, television, feature films, and photo shoots. Rates are based on a 14-hour day for filming and a 12-hour day for all other needs.
Base Location Fees Examples
- Shoot Days: $500 - $5,000 per day (12-14-hours)
- Prep & Post Days: $500 - $1500 per day (10-12-hours)
- Hold Days: $500 - $1500 per day
Take into consideration:
- Size of production
- Under 20 people they will want to pay lower amount
- Over can pay a little more
- How many days are they using the property?
- How many people (cast and crew) are going to be on the property?
- Are they including your furniture?
- Will they be using onsite restroom? Kitchen?
- Are they going to use your electricity?
- Disruption of your home or business?
- Does the production company provide an insurance waiver?
- Will the production company provide a location agreement?
- Will you need additional personnel (see below)?
Additional Location Fees to consider:
- Site Representative or Property Manager (14-hours)

- House Electric: $$ per day
- What does fee cover? standard household outlets and HVAC. Mainframe tie-in additional?
- Post-Event Cleaning fee
- Final price necessity generally depends on the property and the impact.

Other advice
- Always get a certificate of insurance
- Outline on the location agreement what the footprint is and fee that will be charged if it goes beyond the designated areas.
- Always get the agreement in writing and do not allow productions onsite without the signed agreement and insurance.
