2026 SEC Gymnastics Championship Volunteer Signup

The Southeastern Conference is seeking volunteers for the 2026 SEC Gymnastics Championship in Tulsa!

Interested in volunteering? Please review the volunteer descriptions below, then complete the form for the role(s) and session(s) you would like to signup for. You may sign up for a single session or the entire event.

When: Saturday, March 21, 2026

Session 1 Volunteer Report Times: 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM (see descriptions for role-specific report times)

Session 2 Volunteer Report Times: 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM (see descriptions for role-specific report times)

Where: BOK Center, 200 S Denver Ave., Tulsa, OK 74103

Volunteer Roles

Team Leader

  • Due to the NCAA recruiting policy, the age range for volunteers is 9-14, and adults.
  • Must be available for the ENTIRE session.
  • Assigned to the competition floor.
  • Escort teams from locker rooms to each event rotation throughout the championship.
  • Maintain rotation timing and ensure teams are in position prior to march-in and warm-ups.
  • Serve as a communication link between teams and event operations staff.
  • Help preserve championship flow, athlete experience, and broadcast timing.

Session 1, 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM - FULL
Session 2,  4:00 PM - 8:45 PM - FULL

Score Inputter (Adult)

  • Must be available for the ENTIRE session.
  • Enter judges’ scores into the official scoring software/system.
  • Input neutral deductions, start values (if required), and final scores.
  • Confirm the correct gymnast, institution, rotation, and event before posting.
  • Monitor accuracy of data entry in real time.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining precision to keep the meet on schedule.

Session 1, 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM - FULL
Session 2,  4:30 PM - 8:45 PM Sign up to be a Score Inputter for Session 2

Score Checker (Adult)

  • Must be available for the ENTIRE session.
  • Independently verify scores after entry and prior to being made official.
  • Confirm calculations (averages, dropped high/low scores, deductions).
  • Ensure correct gymnast and team attribution.

Session 1, 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM - FULL
Session 2,  4:30 PM - 8:45 PM - FULL

Back of House Assistant (Adult Female)

  • Must be available for the ENTIRE session.
  • Assist with locker room transitions and session changeover.
  • Ensure snacks, beverages, and supplies remain stocked.
  • Confirm locker rooms are cleared promptly and drop rooms are utilized appropriately (Session I teams).
  • Serve as primary back-of-house contact for teams with logistical questions.
  • Support a positive and organized championship athlete experience.

Session 2,  4:00 PM - 8:45 PM  Sign up to be a Back of House Assistant for Session 2

Media (Adult)

  • Staff the designated media entrance check-in table.
  • Distribute credentials and lanyards to approved media members.
  • Reference the provided approved media list when issuing credentials.
  • Require each individual to present a government-issued ID before receiving their credential.
  • Ensure individuals only pick up their own credential (no exceptions).
  • Direct any questions or issues to the championship contact (cell phone number provided).
  • Parking passes will be emailed directly to those who request them; volunteers are only responsible for credential distribution.

Additional Information

  • Food and refreshments will be provided for volunteers.
  • There will be a break between the 2 sessions.
  • Shirts will be provided.
  • The volunteer will NOT be paid for this opportunity.
