Guthrie Green Park will be a special place to celebrate the rich culture of the Americas at the fourth annual Festival Americas to be held Friday and Saturday, September 22-23, 2017 during National Hispanic Heritage Month.
The colorful multicultural festival will include a Vendor Market with artistic and recreational activities for the whole family, plus an Outdoor Art Gallery, Tequila Garden, and a variety of food flavors from across the Americas. "We are thrilled to celebrate our rich and diverse Latino community in the heart of downtown Tulsa," explained Rodrigo Rojas Festival Founder.
The Festival will include an assortment of live Latin musical and dance performances throughout the evening. The extensive concert lineup will feature Grupo Soniak, Tulsa Latin Style, Navarro y Su Potencia Musical, Tulsa Salseros, Ballet Folklorico Tonatiuh, Chinelos Morelenses, Reflejos Flamencos, and Grammy Award-Winning Band La Santa Cecilia.
Day 1, September 22, 2017 | 6-9 p.m.
Day 1 of Festival Americas will feature local Latino artists with an outdoor art exhibition at Guthrie Green Park. The evening will also include live music and a tequila garden.
Day 2, September 23, 2017 | 2-10 p.m.
Day 2 of Festival Americas will welcome the whole family with fun, interactive activities for all ages, Latin art market, tequila garden, food trucks, youth dance performances and an assortment of live musical performances that will bring together multiple generations of Latin music fans.
