If you've got extra time while you're visiting Oklahoma, consider a walking tour of downtown Tulsa. Tulsa's downtown began to boom with oil money in the Roaring Twenties, just as the Art Deco movement was hitting its stride. The city has more examples of this classic architectural style than almost any in the country and features buildings designed by architectural legends such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Barry Byrne, and Bruce Goff. There are also plenty of fun sites to be seen along historic Route 66, where you can visit a giant blue whale and tons of other quirky landmarks that are throwbacks to the 1950s era. Music buffs shouldn't miss the brand new Woody Guthrie Center for the Arts, conveniently located near the finish line of the marathon!

The Williams Route 66 Marathon Health and Fitness Expo hosts exhibitors featuring running gear and shoes, as well as sports and fitness and sustainability related items. The Expo is the home of packet pick-up for all participants and volunteers. Held at the Cox Business Center, the two-day Expo is free and open to the public.
