Romance Rekindled
Friday: Start your weekend getaway with a relaxing, romantic dinner at one of Tulsa's unique dining experiences: Polo Grill, Fleming's Steakhouse, or Wild Fork at Utica Square; try McGill's at Utica Square or 61st & Yale, or the Melting Pot fondue restaurant at RiverWalk Crossing. After dinner, try your luck at one of Tulsa's casinos!
Saturday: Enjoy the morning sun with a run, bike ride or stroll along the River Parks trail. If you ride, try to use one of the free bicycles available to borrow for up to 24 hours from one of four bike depots on the river trail. If they're out of free bicycles, try Tom's Bicycles (68th & Peoria), where you can get a free hour of bike rental when you buy a second hour or more. Then take a trip to the landlocked ocean experience of the Oklahoma Aquarium, where the world's largest bull sharks in captivity swim over your head in more than a million gallons of water.
Saturday lunch: A pretty drive south to Stone Bluff Cellars is in order, for a chef-prepared lunch, wine tasting and beautiful scenery from atop the deck.
Saturday afternoon: Create a relaxing night in, starting with massages at one of Tulsa's day spas: Marilyn Ihloff at Utica Square or 81st & Memorial, Woodhouse Day Spa on Brookside, or Elements Spa at the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown.
Sunday morning: Cap off your weekend with an elegant brunch at Gilcrease Museum, Philbrook Museum of Art, or Green Onion, before getting on the road back home.
Safe travels!
