$200 - $225

Day 1: Saturday, March 16, 2019, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gilcrease Museum

Want to learn how to combine the ancient art of fresco with 21st century digital photography technology? Join us for a two-day masterclass led by local Tulsa artist Mazen Abufadil, whose works are currently featured in Gilcrease Museum's Americans All! exhibition.

In this class, participants will create their own photo-frescos, a hybrid transfer process using "wet" pigment prints of their digital photographs applied to a slaked lime fresco substrate. This masterclass is designed for intermediate-to-advanced level photographers.

Enrollment is limited to 12 participants and the cost is $200 for members and $225 for not-yet-members. Attendees are registering for both sessions as the second workshop builds on the foundation of the first. Please note different venue locations for each date above.

*Note* All participants will have the opportunity to exhibit at least two of their photo-frescos in a special community exhibition at Gilcrease Museum!
