PRESENTED BY: South Asian Performing Arts Foundation

Tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain has performed and/or recorded with artists as diverse as George Harrison, Yo-Yo Ma, Van Morrison, Mickey Hart, Rennie Harris and the Kodo drummers. His extraordinary contributions to the music world were honored in 2009 with four widely heralded and sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall.

Rakesh Chaurasia, child prodigy and the nephew of flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, has carved a niche for himself as an accomplished flutist. He has evolved an approach that maintains the purity of the flute while also managing to capture the attention of young listeners.
