Olympics Trials Participant
Kimberly Pettit is a former professional cyclist born and raised in Oklahoma. Several years after coaching cycling in Orlando and Texas, Kimberly competed in the 1996 Olympic Trials. She has won 12 National Championship medals since 2013.
Runner and Triathlete
Runs with RunnersWorld Tulsa
Jana began running in 2011, and has since moved on to longer distances and triathlon. Jana is actively involved with Ainsley's Angels, a non-profit group that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in endurance sports.
Olympic Gold Medalist
Madeline is a three-time Olympian, and won a gold medal after finishing first in the women's 800 meter race. She is the founder and president of the US Council for Sports Chaplaincy and has been a chaplain at several Olympic Games since.
Oklahoma Golden Gloves Winner
Neida is currently focusing on Golden Gloves tournaments.
Started Gymnastics at Age 6
Sheridan's level 9 season was her greatest accomplishment. She placed 1st at State, 2nd at Regionals, and 11th at Nationals.
Olympic Marathon Trails Participant
Stephanie began running at age 29 and currently runs marathons.
Roller Derby Participant
One of Rika's greatest accomplishments was completing 27 laps in 5 minutes.
7- Time Olympic Medalist
Shannon Miller is a former Olympic Gymnast and is the most decorated Olympic Gymnast in American History. She has won 7 Olympic Medals and 9 Wolrd Championship Medals. Shannon is the only female athlete to be inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame.
Tulsa Run Participant
Amy has placed first in her age group in several 5ks, 10ks, and half-marathons.
Coaches Youth Athletes
Jacqueline runs marathons and has started Movelt Sports Organization, which focuses on getting kids up and active through the sport of Track and Field and movement.
Roughneck Roller Derby Skater
Mickey DisMantle is a skater on Tulsa's elite, all women, flat-track roller derby league, Roughneck Roller Derby.
USA Wrestling has announced that it has awarded the 2018 Senior Greco-Roman World Team Trials to Tulsa, Okla., where the event will be hosted at Cox Business Center, June 21-22. Also new this year is the Women’s National Duals, which features state-level high school girls teams.
