The planned OKPOP Museum has a home, and it's a good one.

The museum, which will highlight the state's role in popular culture through artifacts, photographs, manuscripts, archival material, film, video and interviews, will be built at 422 N. Main St., across the street from a long-standing pop cultural icon, the Cain's Ballroom. That seems like a great choice, a location that takes advantage of existing pop culture interest, and it's made even better because the land comes at everyone's favorite price - free.
