BOK Center named 'Best in the World'

(Tulsa, Okla.) September 30, 2014 - The SMG-managed BOK Center was named ‘Best In The World 2014' for Best Live Entertainment Venue (Large) by the Tulsa World. This was the first year for the awards, which were voted on by Tulsa World readers.

In Sunday's Tulsa World Weekend special section, BOK Center was recognized as standing out in the city and the region for its full schedule of events, its amenities and the unique appearance. So far this year, BOK Center has hosted many of the industry's top concerts including: Imagine Dragons, Miley Cyrus, Cher, Kings of Leon, George Strait, Dave Matthews Band, OneRepublic and One Direction. Upcoming BOK Center events include: Katy Perry (October 6), Pearl Jam (October 8), Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (October 19) and Eric Church (November 1).
