17th annual Parrothead 7's at Mohawk Soccer Complex

Tulsa Sports Commission is proud to partner with Tulsa Rugby Club and City of Tulsa to present the 17th Annual Parrothead Sevens rugby tournament to Mohawk Soccer Complex, Saturday, July 12, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Primarily hosted by Tulsa Rugby Club, the tournament will feature the fast paced game of rugby sevens, with a parrothead twist. Organizers have also partnered with Tulsa Parrothead Club to create a parrothead party zone, featuring an island atmosphere for players and spectators to enjoy.

"Tulsa Sports Commission is extremely excited to welcome this group to the Mohawk Soccer Complex, said Vince Trinidad, executive director of Tulsa Sports Commission. "The tournament has a long history in Tulsa and we think Mohawk will provide a good home for years to come."

The Parrothead sevens tournament is a national championship qualifier. Teams from across the region will compete and vie for the opportunity to compete in the national spotlight. Open brackets will also be offered for more social players in both men and women categories. Additionally, the 19 and under brackets offers a great place for up and coming stars to play.

"Tulsa Rugby Club would like to start off by saying thank you to the City of Tulsa and Tulsa Sports Commission for making this event possible," said Luke Turner, Tulsa Rugby Club. "We are excited to be hosting this tournament at Mohawk and invite everyone to come out and have some fun in the island paradise."
